Management and Humanities College of Chabahar Maritime
University (CMU) became independent from Maritime
Engineering College by establishing its first independent department, i.e., Department of Management and Maritime
Commissary in 1997. In another endeavor to increase its independence, the
college evolved and was renamed to Management and Humanities College in 2001.
After the new college was established, other departments such as Department of
English Language, Department of Economics, and Department of Islamic Theology
were included in Management and Humanities College.
Currently, Management and Humanities College offers master's and
doctoral programs in such fields as English Language Teaching, General
Linguistics, Management, Persian Language and Literature, and Economics on a
full-time basis in addition to its older bachelor's programs, including English-Persian
Translation, Economics, and Management.
Among the medium-term
goals of Management and Humanities College is to increase its graduate programs.
In line with this, this college is trying to offer master's and doctoral programs
in such fields as English-Persian Translation, General Linguistics, Economics, and
Facilities and Capabilities:

- Classes equipped with audio-visual equipment
- Distance learning equipment
- Intra-college English language library
- Quality Management System
- Centralized and wireless Internet networks
